  1. How do I enter data into the custom fields??
  2. OK - found the issue! When I went into Network properties, NOTHING was there, not even the New Connection Wizard!! Well, took several repair installs until it started working again, but it scans and creates the data file fine now!
  3. I am unable to use WMI, that is why I got an inventory program with an agent. I'm going to try a repair install of WinXP to see if it will clear up.
  4. Sorry - it doesn't work that way! I can select any SINGLE computer by ticking in the empty space, but ticking the same on the root node does nothing.
  5. Just checked again, and if I enter the report builder with anything except the root node selected, I cannot select all computers except bu selecting one at a time. I have to exit, make sure root node is selected, then go to into report builder again.
  6. So, if I run a logon script and call the tniaudit.exe, the .ini file should be in the same folder?
  7. I am unable to select the root node - neither clicking or double clicking will select it.
  8. I can't figure out the logic - sometimes it will select all, sometimes it won't.
  9. Does this issue occur using the agent also?
  10. It did create a data folder in the windows folder (where tniaudit.exe is located) but the folder is empty!
  11. Or is it just that we are the only ones posting questions??? :D
  12. OK, tried running the tniaudit.exe file manually, got an Access Denied - user is a local admin.
  13. Thanx - all it has in there now for the savepath parameter is Data - so I should put the UNC to the data share in there?
  14. OK - I'll try again, but I swear nothing happened when I clicked the column heading!!
  15. I agree - right click, change the name, and YOUR PROGRAM edits the XML file!!! B)
  16. Thanx Benny? (any relation to Benny and the Jets??)
  17. After scanning, I have found some systems that have the wrong name. Once I rename the computer, is there a way to rename its entry in TNI without having to delete the old name and rescanning the new one (since the original scan had correct data except for the computer name)?
  18. Also, if this is to work properly, you will need to pad IP addresses with leading zeros.
  19. Also, how about the ability to add computer names for those that are not in the local browser cache?? Or even more, import a text file of computer names to scan??
  20. I cannot see where to tell the logon audit tool what share to place the audit files in.
