  1. One thing I noticed is that if you are scanning multiple subnets and you have the same computer name on different subnets TNI doesn't appear to be able to handle that. It will scan the duplicate name (even though it has a completely different IP address) and then overwrite the originally scanned PC on the other subnet. Any way to dodge this? For example, I have a lot of clients that seem to like to calls their server "SERVER" so the old record is getting overwritten all the time, even though the subnet is different and the domain name is different. Also, any idea on Windows 7? The programs seems to install fine but never appears to launch. The compatibility modes in Windows 7 do not seem to make a difference either. Unfortunately, the lack of hardware support means I can not run this on XP Virtual Mode. In addition, worked great on my Vista machine.
  2. I found another post that recommended to try using the "Agent Less" option. That one eventually comes back and says "Connection Lost" on all those XP Embedded Thin Clients.
  3. Thanks for the help. It gave me a different error now. Its weird, they ping, they connect, they claim to be copying files and installing the service, they say retreiving data and cleaning up and then I get the error "Data File Was Not Generated". Any idea on that one?
  4. Was wondering if it is possible to scan XP Embedded Thin Clients. Getting RPC Unavailable when I try. Firewall is off on them and WMI is enabled. And I get successful connectiosn to WMI remotely. Admin password is not blank. Admin shares are present. Didn't check the simple file sharing yet. I know that can be another issue. But wasn't sure if this was a no go operating systen.
