Darren Mernagh
Is there any way that I can find out the age of a computer from the scan, I was hoping to identify upsell opportunities from machines that are out of warranty. Any information greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Quote Link to comment
Alex
Hello Darren, It is not possible to check the age of a computer directly, but you can check the dates in: BIOS information: Release date Memory module: Manufacture date You can build a table report and roughly determine the age of a computer based on this information. greenfelder
To find this on a Windows computer, open the Start menu, then type "sysinfo" into the search bar. Select the "System Information" application, and scroll down to the BIOS Version/Date entry in the window that appears. The date listed can be used to estimate the age of the computer. bubble shooter Quote Link to comment
