sysadmin Posted March 5, 2013 Report Share Posted March 5, 2013 I run scans of my subnets periodically as we are always adding new servers. The scans do not find any new servers. If I scan the new server IP individually the scan completes fine. Why does the scan of the entire subnet, xx.xx.xx.xxx/24, not find any new devices? Please let me know if I am missing something. Support Posted March 5, 2013 Report Share Posted March 5, 2013 Have you tried to enable (or disable, if it's enabled) the Nmap engine? It can be done either on the Scanner tab or in the "Options - Scanner" window. This influences the way the network discovery is made. Do these servers reply to pings normally? Quote Link to comment
